  As soon as I arrived, the receptionist (who helped me) spoke very good english and showed me my room. This made me feel at home straight away, as my russian is beginner level and quite poor. Very friendly and smiling person, I won't forget her, a pleasure to deal with. The Rooms are in two separate apartments. As the receptionist only be there at 10am, so it's a must to email them the time you arrive to check in and to enter the hostel, as no one will be there to open the door for you, unless there are guest heard the bell and open for you.

  It's a big house turned into rooms, with a shared kitchen, 1 bathroom and separate toilet. They got wi-fi. Staff was really friendly, once we got to know them. Very helpful and very kind with us. They spoke very little english, but made a superb effort to communicate with us (google translator was our best friend). Location was about the best available in Moscow without getting into the really high priced hotels (i.e. Ritz Carlton) , about a 10-15 minute walk to Red Square and just a block from a nice strolling plaza with a couple of nice outdoor cafes to have a few drinks.
