Pension Grandor is set in the Valari Plateau, only 3 km from the Paltinis ski resort with 7 different slopes. It offers barbecue facilities, bike rental and a restaurant serving typical Romanian dishes.
All rooms have flat-screen cable TV with a DVD player, a balcony and a private bathroom with shower.
Guests can park their car for free on site. There is a playground for children and free Wi-Fi access is provided in public areas.
Pension Grandor offers transport to the ski slopes upon request. The ski pass can also be obtained at the reception.

Family run, nice and welcoming people, very willing to help and to give you directions and tips about the Sibiu area.

As others travelers have also highlighted, it would be nice to have some chairs and a small table on the balcony, as well as some umbrellas in the yard. There are some nice benches and tables where one can sit and enjoy the view, but during the hot summer days shade is an absolute must.
I assume these details will be worked on anyway, as Grandor is a pretty new venue.
Remote location. Need a car to get anywhere.
Beds are twins pushed together with no way to hold them together, which is not nice.
A dog barked for hours in the middle of the night.
Everything was very nice; the only thing that I disliked was that they asked us to pay at arrival and not at check out as it is usual.
Payment at check-in is not a thing that we appreciate.
Breakfast is the poorest we have ever experienced in a hotel.
