The hotel looks towards the city main shopping street and is a 5 minutes walk to the palace and main attractions in Oslo. Lobby area is very practical with direct access to the train station where many shops and dining - Great location just inside the central train station although it took us a while to find it initially. Tram stop and metro is just outside the hotel and across the road is the main street - Karls Johan Gate. New modern hotel with interesting wall design inside the room. Extremely friendly and helpful staff at reception. Huge lounge area at reception to hang out. Great breakfast with wide spread of quality food.   Location was totally fantastic for anyone having to catch an early morning train/bus like me - it's right beside the rail and bus station. Staff were excellent, friendly, helpful, efficient. The room was one of the best designed I have ever seen in a hotel, and had everything one could possibly need. Norway is - Central location close to the station for early departure via airport express train. Within walking distance of pedestrian street and restaurants. Included breakfast at the Egon restaurant across from the hotel was an adventure in navigation. Once there food presented had variety for all.

  The hotel was in a very good location in a very good area very nea the center only 6 minutes with the buss. If one likes to wald to the center is also very convenient and very easy to reach the shops, restaurants and caffe's of the town. We even had gluden free bread brought to us at the table every morning. The soundpoof rooms - Really nice to find some well-appointed rooms with wooden floors and very good bedding! We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant which really surprised us as hotel cuisine can be so-so.
