  The staff were extremely helpful and friendly from the moment that the booking was made. They were very welcoming and helpful when we arrived and made us feel very welcome with our children aged 3, 2 and 1. The rooms are a good size and very clean. The buffet breakfast and complimentary evening buffet were exceptional. Light Evening Meal is good and not just 'light'. Breakfast spread is good and they server you hot fried eggs. Recommended for family. You can buy Oslo Pass from the hotel. A number of eating joints close by.

  Friendly smart attentive, and willing members of staff from check in to check out. Staff were the best I have known, primarily as quite chilled and not overly formal. I simply cannot stand any place where the staff appear subservient. Here the balance was perfect. Cleanliness 10/10. The only complaint I have is about the couple who sat at the breakfast - When I checked in to this Hotel i didn't like the first room I had, I am very particular in when it comes to colors of my sorounding specially when it comes to the colors of room or colors of the curtain( some people are just like this) I called the reception right away and asked them if they could give me another room with light soroudings...5 minutes later they gave me the room that was just perfect..excellent service..no wonder I am here when I am in Oslo.

  Fantastic amount of space in the appartment with comfortable beds. Two bathrooms with wet room facilities were great. Staff were friendly and helpful eg were very quick to sort out an internet access problem. Appartment was also nice and warm. Will use the appartments again on futuer visits. - There were 8 of us and we stayed in the apartment for 8 people. The apartment is on two floors. Space is huge. The hotel is close to the center - no more than 20 minutes to the center. Bus and tram station is 2 minutes away.

  Good central location, easy to walk to all attractions from the hotel. The rooms were basic and small but clean and the bed was comfortable. For the price in Oslo it was excellent value for money. WIFI was fast. Our room was so clean and comfortable 638. We stayed from Friday to Sunday and then went to Porsgrunn. Unfortunately we didn't book for our return stay and had to book into a different hotel :( as Smart Hotel was fully booked. Loved everything about it. Thanks for a wonderful stay - so friendly and welcoming, Will be back! xx
