  We were traveling with our grandchildren to the Amsterdam area. This guesthouse was absolutely perfect for us. The rooms were spotless and beautifully appointed. Our hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect.. It is in the country, but you are only 15-20 minutes from Amsterdam as well as the charming towns of Volendam... co mówią ludzie » and Edam. Being a working farm was a further plus. The children loved interacting with the cows, horses, sheep..even the dusk and chickens. The owne - Overleekerhoeve was a highlight of our European vacation. Our enthusiastic hostess provided us with all the comforts we could ask for; from farm fresh milk to bicycles and a map of the nearby countryside, complete with stories of places to visit and optional routes to explore. This unique experience included watching the cows give milk; chatting with the farmhands; watching the many birds, domestic and wild; and soaking in a spotless jacuzzi after a day's ride across the countryside.
