  The location of Vossius Vondelpark is excellent - close to bus and tram stops but so easy to walk from that I never used public transport. The major museums and Heineken brewery are within 5 minutes walk. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the welcome from staff was warm and friendly at any hour of the day/night. We wanted to stay in the centre of town. The hotel is a few yards from Leidseplein. So location is great. We booked a small double, which was nice, clean and cosy. For breakfast we went to a bakery, so no comment on that. Will keep the hotel in mind for next stop in Amsterdam !

They seem to bewilling to go out of their way to help. From the moment I arrived atthe station at Amstel to when I arrived to the hote , they guided meall the way through. - Staying at the Hotel Aalders was very enjoyable. The staff were professional, personable and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, the room was comfortable, it was more than we expected. We were very happy with the location as one of our main interests is visiting museums. We would definitely recommend Hotel Aalders and would stay there again.

They also let me bring my dog, and were very nice to him as well :) The location was great, it was very near many of the main museums, within walking distance, and the tram stops were about 5 min walk away. Our room had a balcony so that was nice. Room had a safe to lock up valuables which was free, and - Quiet location and spacious room: it is definitely worth staying slightly outside the city centre for these comforts. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of the three major art galleries and the Vondelpark, which is great for picnics, reading and people-watching if you want a break from the hustle and bustle (or from all those paintings!).
