Just home from a 4 night stay in the "Roof top retreat" apartment, what can I say but fantastic. Apartment is fully finished, proper comfy couch, large memory foam mattress bed, gas hob and cooker along with every pot/glass/plate and kitchen utensil you could need, And not forgetting the roof terrace, 360 views and we were lucky with the sunshine,

This hotel has an excellent location in pleasant and prosperous Amsterdam Zuid, close to the Concertgebouw. Posh shops and restaurants as well as an affordable supermarket are close by. Amsterdam's historic center and major museums are easily reachable by public transportation.

Our room was well equipped, and had access to a shared balcony. The rates are very reasonable by A'dam standards. -
I loved the location, private bathroom and room size. It was walking distance to the museums, public transportation to the airport and other areas was around the corner from the hotel. The rooms were clean, bathrooms as well, cable television and heating.

Staff were outstanding
We had a medical issue and the night receptionist (at 4am) really went the extra mile to help us.
Room was very modern and comfortable and quite large by european standards, high standrad of bedding and amenities such as flat screen TVs.

This hotel located in the best, area of Amsterdam with lots of great shopping and restaurants near by. Its newly redone and very modern with stylish rooms. The bathrooms are large with flat screens above the tub.I have been happy with their other hotels as well, the Roemer and Vondel. I highly recommend this hotel to any travellers looking to enjoy a great valued option compared to other ones in this expensive city.

dobre jedzenie, świetna lokalizacja, cicha okolica - Excellent experience. The most hospitable and friendly stuff. Best value for your money (I personally felt like I was paying less than my stay's worth). Comfortable, clean and accommodating. You're in Amsterdam you're not supposed to stay in your hotel so the room's small size shouldn't matter .

The accommodation at Apartment Rijksmuseum exceeded all expectations. Not only was the apartment very clean, it was also spacious and ideally situated. The only confusion was who to buzz when we arrived, but we quickly figured it out (there's an art gallery below where the owners reside). The owners were very welcoming and helpful during our stay.

An absolute delight. The hosts Wies and Joop were warm and hospitable offering assistance about access to interesting parts of the city and welcoming into their home. The apartment is spacious, full of natural light, with excellent views of the Rijksmuseum and is close to great restaurants and public transport. We could have moved in permanently!!!!!!
