I liked all of it - this is a quirky, little hotel which has the best location - 10 minutes from main station and 2 minutes from Anne Frank's house. Small room but everything you need, including a little fridge, tea and coffee and a complimentary drink when you arrive. Very friendly, efficient staff. When arriving in Amsterdam, we walked from the station to the hotel about 10 minutes but did take a cab to the airport when we left; the hotel made arrangements for us. Very friendly staff, location was perfect, located right off the Dam behind the royal palace. Very clean. You get your room key and a key to the front door so you don't have to worry if someone is at the desk....you can let yourself in, anytime! - The location is great and the staff were very helpful. I loved the experience of staying in this beautiful, well maintained, centrally located typical Amsterdam building which was the main reason I picked this place.
