The staff were professional, personable and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, the room was comfortable, it was more than we expected. We were very happy with the location as one of our main interests is visiting museums. We would definitely recommend Hotel Aalders and would stay there again.

We stayed at the Clemens for three nights in November and enjoyed everything about our stay. Great location - we walked everywhere. When arriving in Amsterdam, we walked from the station to the hotel about 10 minutes but did take a cab to the airport when we left; the hotel made arrangements for us. This hotel was the best we stayed at in Europe. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was huge for Europe standards and because it is brand new, the facilities are to a very high standard, particularly given the price range. The rooms are soundproof and warm, and the bathrooms are really large. We stayed in a standard room and would definitely stay there if we visited Amsterdam again.

The location is the best you can get in Amsterdam - close to all touristic attractions, shopping, restaurants and so on, as it is right in the middle of the city.

Good host who provided useful local information on nearby pubs and cafes. Very close to Central station and tram routes. Flat well sourced with tea/coffee and travel guides/maps. I loved the location, private bathroom and room size. It was walking distance to the museums, public transportation to the airport and other areas was around the corner from the hotel. The rooms were clean, bathrooms as well, cable television and heating.
