Even if the room was small, it was well organised so efficient. I was scared I would feel the boat moving since it was windy but it never happened. The people were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was also very good.

We had a great time at the houseboat. The house is well appointed, the owners are great, and the location is the best. We would often sit out on the deck in the evening with a bottle of wine and watch the locals go putting by in their canal boats. We felt like residents. We were delighted with our stay in the blue houseboat . The location was perfect for what we wanted to do , ie see the Anne Frank house , the Van Gogh exhibition at the hermitage , the Rijks museum , eating out and wandering the shops of the nine street and Jordaan areas . The houseboat itself was very cosy and spotless , just like sn apartement , with all we could need for our stay. Guy was most welcoming and helpful . It was a lovely way to see Amsterdam .

Location is perfect and easy to reach all the main attractions of the city. The owner of apartment ,Jorrit, was very helpful and has a big smile when he welcoming us despite we arrive nearly midnight. The apartment well furnished and Nespresso machine helps wake me up in the morning :) Highly recommended and definetly I will stay here again next time in Amsterdam.

Dennis and Martine were wonderful hosts. Dennis is, in his wife's own words, the entertainer!!! The free private boat trip/history lesson was great. My girlfriend and I loved it!!!!! I ended up steering the boat on a hot sunny afternoon and I cannot think of a better way of seeing the city. Freshly cooked bread is delivered to you every morning and a free well stocked fridge on arrival is a very nice touch. Very easy to access transport for main tourist attractions in Amsterdam. Apartment was well equipped and owners rep was extremely helpful. On returning in 2014 will book again. -

All you need from a holiday apartment in a lovely location away form the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. The apartment is only 2 tram stops from Leidseplein where all the restaurants and nightlife is and a further 10 minutes to Central Station. We were met by our friendly host who welcomed us with a bottle of fizz and some essentials and there was also loads of maps and information to hand. I can recommend this place whole heartedly and look forward to staying here when I next return to Amste

Location even a bit far from central station (actually by tran is abt 10 mins, tran station just outside of apartment), but apartment locate at a very slient street, no noise at all!

Spacious apartment in a lovely quiet location 2 minutes walk from the zoo and easily accessible either on foot or via regular trams to city centre.
Easy walk to 'Nemo' science centre too, and the excellent Maritime Museum. A haven from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam!
Free wifi and a DVD player helped with keeping the older kids amused.
