From the start, we were made to feel very welcome. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us.
The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra. And the turtles were a star attraction - role models for contemplation.

We stayed for 4 nights at this lovely traditional looking Riad, walking
distance to the new town (about 15-20 mins), the main square and mosque
(15 mins). The staff are personable, not all speak English but you can
get by. The own sat down with us talking us through the Riad and the
local area. The cooks are great and you can choose where I.E. the
terrace, your room, the courtyard and what time you have breakfast and
pop down to the kitchen to let them know. They have 2 iPads and free

Riad Aloes is perfectly situated in the Medina within easy reach all the markets and main sites. The Riad is quiet, beautiful and clean, a lovely place to relax in the hustle bustle of Marrakech. The breakfast of fresh fruits and croissants or pancakes was delicious. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean. Olivier couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Marrakech.

A beautiful, romantic place to stay, just 10 minutes walk from Jan Fna and the wonderful souks of Marrakech. The rose pettles scattered on the bed, a relaxing hamam and pretty mosaic pool really made this place number one! Also the staff are so warm and friendly and the evening meal was delicious! The building is great with a traditional riad style. The open terrace was lovely and secluded; perfect for breakfast and sunbathing. The staff were very friendly and offered to arrange tours etc for us. The restaurant was a special treat with gorgeous French cuisine. The location is perfect; close enough to the medina to walk there easily but far enough away to be a quiet retreat.

The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great with different meals everyday which was served by the staff. We stayed at the Mata Hari room which was a decent size for two people. The rooms and bathroom were clean. The riad is tastefully decorated. The location is decent - about 10-15 mins walk from the main J'ma El Fna. It felt like a safe location and we walked back to the riad around 10.30 every night with no problems.

The rooms are all beautiful. The staff is very friendly and Frederique (the owner) is a wonderful host who even went to pick us up at the Jemma el Fna Square because we got lost the first day.
Additionally, as it was low season, she gave us a free extra room to be more comfortable.
Just wonderful, I hope to go back someday ... I really recommend it 100%

This is a wonderfully peaceful and friendly riad in a great location
just ten minutes away from the main square. The staff is incredibly
helpful, especially owners Jean-Michel & Frédéric. As two women
travellers, we never felt unsafe or unattended to. The riad has a
