My wife and I stayed in the Youssef room for 1 night. We were in Oualidia very briefly but we were incredibly impressed by this guesthouse and the hosts and wished we could have spent more time there. The guesthouse itself is absolutely beautiful – filled with gorgeous plants and flowers, very spacious, with lots of areas to sit and relax. Guy was a wonderful host – he made us feel extraordinarily welcome, gave us a great recommendation for dinner, and even offered to drive us when he found out. wszystkie opinie »
Dar Beldi was a beautiful Riad that had well manicured gardens, spacious
suites, and several terraces for relaxation. Guy, the owner, was so
friendly and helpful. He drove us around to restaurants and beaches and
was always around to give advice or assistance! We had a great time at
Dar Beldi, as Oualidia is a more local vacation spot and there are fewer
"Western" comforts and restaurants to choose from; however,
with Guy's help and recommendations we had plenty of places to dine
and see! We fu.
Guy was a truly warm and welcoming host, particularly after a long journey from the Atlas! He shared his knowledge about Oualidia and even drove us to a restaurant on our first night, arranging a return transport from the owner! Dar Beldi is a beautifully maintained characterful riad with real homely charm. The Terrace and gardens are a highlight - along with the tortoises. Eating fresh grilled fish on the beach is something not to be missed.
A riad where you will immediately feel at home, thanks to the
friendliness of the employees and owners, the garden and the (several)
terraces. Everything was simply excellent. We got a more expensive
bigger room at no cost because it simply was free. The owners are laid
back, enjoying life and making sure you do so as well. Highly
recommended.
You enter into a beautiful relaxing garden oasis, great to just sit and enjoy. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were clean, large, and stylish. Breakfast on the roof terrace was fantastic. We have a 9 year old so were very pleased to see a games room as well.
We will certainly return, and recommend Dar Beldi to all.
The owners of Dar Beldi were extremely welcoming and friendly. The presentation of the rooms and roof area were exceptional and the garden was beautiful. Private living spaces and relaxing communal spaces. Very close to the lagoon and beaches, with lovely surrounding walks. We will definitely go back and stay again for longer.
Dinner with the hosts was a memorable experience. Good locally source food with friendly, entertaining hosts. The garden, was amazing, many plants of all types in a profusion of colours and scents. We are already planning our return.
Staff is so friendly,Rooms are Cousy, nice, well furnished. Breakfast is awesome and the owners are always available to help you. We had a smaller room and the Owner offered us a living room for us with tv and sofa. Heaven on hearth.
The staff and the owner Guy - complete with dog, cat and tortoises. The design and attention to detail with very clean rooms, a good breakfast, beautiful gardens and communal spaces.
The owner's Guy and Pierre Yves are wonderful hosts, and their staff, Aziz, Yousef and Zenib, are exemplary. We would go out of our way to stay at Dar Beldi again.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel is beautiful. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about it.
The Riad is charming & unique, + the storks nesting on the next door
mosque provided constant entertainment!.
Really lovely hotel and nice staff.
We spend the just one night but it has been perfect.
Fantastic people at the hostal/hotel and good reception , really nice location.
The location was great, rooms comfortable with beautiful patio garden outside.
very friendly and helpful host! wonderful flower filled garden!.
nice service and garden.
Price, but we could pay some more and, at least, have some internationals tv channels and WI FI , in the room.
Note that after 10 Pm there is nothing more to do or go!.
The only tiny complaint that we had is that the bed was a bit firmer than we would have liked, but that’s a personal thing and we had a good night’s sleep nonetheless.
The location was a little far from the main beach and right next to the
mosque, which woke us up at 5 am with the morning prayers.
Visiting Oualidia out of the main June-September season is a little odd. There are very few other tourists around and little work for the businesses, and result can be a sense of isolation. It is however a beautiful spot with sweeping vistas and a picture-perfect lagoon.
Everything was perfect. We did arrive in car - it may be a bit more of a
pain if you arrive in bus. The owners did immediately after reveravation
send us a map, so this is probably a non-issue.
We cannot think of anything we didn't like.
We needed more time to really enjoy the dar so planning to return later in the year.
The owners speak only few English. The rest is perfect.
Nothing.
Apart from the spectacular lagoon and nearby wildlife, Oualidia is a bit
lacking in other amenities.
Nothing, but it has good for us that we had a car, is not so close to the beach so is better have a car to reach it.
little far from main atractions.
No WI-FI in the rrooms, poor or instable in living deck or garden roof.
Breakfast is also quite limited.
In rooms, tv only 5 french channels!
Poor parking.
Beach quite away.
