  I liked everything about this Riad. It was exactly what I needed. Close to the Madina but not inside which meant I knew where I was at all times. It is within 2 min walk to the Blue Gate and close enough to walk to the brand new mall in the new city. If that's not enough The staff there is the best I have encountered on my 2 month trip. It was our first trip in Morroco and Fes and it was a real pleasure to stay in this riad which is well situated, in the medina and not far from an entrance (Bab Boujloud) which helps you not to get lost !   Fantastic place to stay, The staff were amazing, the owner was always there when required. We arrived late almost mid night and the owner was wide awake waiting for our arrival. Beutiful setting in the courtyard. The breakfast was good (although I prefer buffets, but thats probably because of my size hehehe).   On arriving at the airport we were greeted by a friendly taxi driver who agreed a price of 150 Dhirams to take us to Fez He called the hotel for us. The interiour is very beautiful, richly decorated - a peaceful place, where you want to come back every time you get tired of crowded and loud medina. The staff is helpful. They serve the best breakfasts in Marocco.   Riad Fez Quarawine is probably one of the best options in Fez. The location is perfect in the heart of the Medina near the comercial street and Batha square which makes it very safe in the evening (please note the google map is wrong, check the map in their web site for real location). The personel is really kind. My mother (75) an - The room was exellent, big, clean, with high ceilings. If you like to visit the music festival then this riad is a very good choice. If you dont like music stay away from it because every night in the neigboring garden there is loud soufi music until 00.30.
