You know the places that change your view point about the beauty, human kindness and cross cultural experience?! Well, Dar Gnaoua is one of those places! The facilities are truly beautiful, it's like spending a night in the museum. The terrace that overlooks the Medina of Fez is breathtaking, during the day and the night. The host, Ahmed, is a man of unlimited human kindness! He made our stay a unique pleasure and joy. Next time I plan to go to Fez, I'm not even going to look for other places t.
wszystkie opinie » We had great two nights in the Dar Gnaoua, mostly because of the great host Ahmed, who was very friendly and cared alot about our wellbeing. Our room was good and clean, as was the bathroom. We had our room next to the terasse, which was the highlight of the riad. You have a beatiful view from there in the morning our at night. The breakfast has been nothing special, but totally ok and tasty. You could use the nice kitchen for cooking, the riad itself has a nice maroccian flair. I spent only one night in Dar Gnaoua, arriving in the night from Casablanca. I met Ahmed in Bab RCIF and he led me to the house where even if it was already late I had the opportunity to have a very delicious dinner. The house is beautiful, the single room where I slept was very comfortable and the view from the terrace is astonishing. I Really recommend it!. Wonderful staff who took care of all of our needs, gave useful advice and lugged suitcases up the hill into the city. Ahmed is simply a great host. Lovely views from the window of our room and on the terrace, elegant decor. Beautiful riad with very nice rooms. The steward, Ahmed, was extremely kind and helpful; it was like staying with family. Very quiet. Wonderful views from the terrace. The service was excellent. It's clean, with all you need. A nice house inside the Medina. A place to discover if you realy want to try the complete experience. Staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Views over Fez from the roof terrace over breakfast were the best part. View. Stay here, it doesn't get any better. Get the rooftop terrace view room. great view of the medina, great service, nice kitchen to use. Fantastic location, wonderful host, excellent food. very friendly service. The shower was just within the bathroom, so after showering it was floated. Furthermore there is no door but only a curtain between room and bathroom, which is typical for a riad, but nevertheless no that comfortable. Finally, the location of the riad is not easy to find and the narrow and poor enlighted streets are not allways comfortable to walk. Especially in the dark we had mixed feelings walking the streets to our Riad. Bed was large and attractive, but the mattress was a little lumpy. Kind difficult to find the Riad if you start from the Main door. The Riad is close to the centre of town, up steep paths. Often the lighting would fail so a torch is a must. Breakfast could be better. a bit long walk from the main roads. a lot of steps.
