The private room was great for a hostel and very good value for money, very comfortable bed, enough space for our clothes, a table with a chair, and the shower was always hot and had enough water pressure (although the room was in the 3rd floor).   The hotel is old but the infrastructures are of very high quality, if it did have a renovation we wouldn't enjoy such a good rate. The location is perfect, very safe and close to the metro, 20-30 minute walk to the zocalo, surrounded by shops, pharmacies, food carts, restaurants and so on... When I visit again I will stay at this hotel.
