This hotel is charming! Upon arrival, the very friendly and helpful staff were there to open the doors and offered us a cold drink and a place to sit and rest during check-in. The rooms were very clean and well decorated. The breakfast had a good variety, and eggs could be made to order. I would definitely recommend this beatiful hotel to anyone - especially couples- planning to visit Venice. It is very convieniently located on the Grand Canal just opposite the reailway station. This is especially important if you are arriving by train from other cities in Italy. If you chose to fly to Venice directly you can take the bus form airport which stops at 5 min away from the hotel. And the vaporetto is likewise just departs in front of the railway station. We loved staying in this gracious palazzo. Very friendly staff who treated us like family. nothing was too much trouble. I also liked the location, away from the main tourist area but only 5 minutes walk away. The garden is also wonderful and we eat breakfast out in the sunshine each day. I would highly recommend this hotel and would go there again

Nothing was too much trouble and there were many little extras provided free of charge, which only added to the pleasure. The room was wonderful, full of atmosphere and beautifully appointed.
