  The Hotel was excellent. Very well located (15meters from the boat station San Angello). Walking from there was a pleasure, and it is about 10 minute walk from San Marco plazza. The service is really good and pleasant, and so was the breakfast. Everything is clean, especially the bathroom. The hotel building itself is a very historic palazzo, the mu - we loved the peace and quiet amongst the hustle bustle of Venice. the staff were charming the room was very comfortable well appointed and with a great view of the grand canal. it was very near to the waterbus and some charming small restaurants. we stayed there 2 years ago when they first opened and we would stay again.

  An easy walk from Piazzale Roma bus station and Santa Lucia train station (no boat to catch, no dragging suitcases through the heavy tourist traffic). There was absolutely no noise from the train station or the canal adjacent the apartments. Due to the location you do not get large numbers of passers by, so very peaceful. Art works on the walls, leather sofa, big bedroom, washing machine, clothes - The apartment was a lovely surprise. The building is quite new on two levels curving around a canal with a residential piazza at the front. The apartment we had is upstairs, sparkling clean, light, comfortable and well equipped. It is located a 10 minute walk from the station. We couldn't find it immediately but on the second walk past we realised that each house has its own number in the locality, rather than a street number.
