  Warm welcome by host Nando. He really let you feel like home. Fontana Vecchia is very close to the city centre in a quiet area of Taormina, with good and free parking space! Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Taormina is beautiful but very turistic.   We had a wonderful stay at Hotel El Jebel. We were traveling with our kids, ages 4 and 6, and the staff could not have been kinder or more attentive. My son declared it "the best hotel he had ever stayed in," and he was not far off.   This is a luxury hotel which you can tell from its price, but the view is worth everthing. Great location, just on the centre of Taormina's main street. And the staff is helpful. They got us a van in one hour and send us to San Vito Lo Capo where is 5-6 hour driving distance from T - I loved this hotel. Everything is perfect. The hotel has a greate design with a fantastic bar and restaurant with a very romantic views overlooking the bay. The staff is supernice and really make you feel welcome. This is a lovely place to stay if you want a bit of luxury and romance. It is offcourse a bit expensive also the bar and restaurant. But that is understandable - you get what you are paying for so it is OK.

  The location was perfect - metres from the main street. Really good breakfast - just ask for eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Roof terrace was great, lots of sun loungers and not too crowded. Pool is not huge but fine to cool off in.and has lovely views. They can organise a cheap trip to a nearby private beach which was definitely worth doing. Bus station is about 15 mins downhill on the way home though we did get a - The staff where very friendly and always happy to help. We had a very pleasant week. Rooms are small but big enough not to be too cramped if staying longer the a few days. Was excepting a little noise from other reviews but did not experience any inconvenience late at night.

  All the staff in the hotel were excellent and nothing was to much trouble, including parking our car as the car park is very difficult to access. Overall we would strongly recommend this hotel to all our friends and family. - Hotel views, ease to walk to town and modern design/decor.
