They really made us feel at home, a tip for those who choose to stay there, have a drink in the balcony, relax and watch the lake....   The hotel was very clean and well kept, the rooms and ensuite bathrooms attractive,modern, and clean. Good English was spoken at the front desk. The breakfast was very good and served in an attractive, bright room. Good value for money. - Very nice hotel, that is the old castle and just by the lake. We had a 3rd floor room with lake overview and it was a pleasure to take a shower with the lake view. Also it had the best breakfast I've seen in whole Europe. Sirmione is a hidden gem and so is this hotel. Also its restaurant is included in Michelin guide which is also by the lakeside.

The pool was beautiful but cold in the beginning of May. We walked around the town and we were quite close to the middle of Sirmione, about 200m. The staff recommended a boat ride around the island, 40 Euros, and a trip across the Lake to Lazio. Both were excellent. The breakfast was extensive and delicious.
