  The rooms are spacious, clean and the public areas are spacious. There is a lift (handy for suitcases). We needed help with sorting out a problem and we didn't have enough Italian to be able to handle it. The staff was fantastic! Helpful, making phone calls, sending faxes and emails and helping us fill in forms. We were very thankful.   Excellent hotel and superb food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alpino. The hotel and restaurant was ideally placed just a few metres away from the harbour in Malcesine. Our room was of a good size, clean, well decorated and had quiet, efficient air conditioning.
