The location is great--right next to Villa Borghese, a huge park where you can run, walk, ride bicycles (for rent), and cool off in the summer (there are museums and a zoo as well).   I had a very pleasant stay at Caligola resort and hereby recommend it to everyone! The location is just great, nearby to Trastevere.   I liked everything about the hotel. It looks quite new, very well-kept, clean rooms with balconies overlooking the beach. All staff was very nice and polite and I had no problem communicating in English. And the best thing, of course, is the location. I loved that the beach was right under my balcony. Everything is a 10-15 min ride away. But wit - Breakfast was wonderful, and the restaurant had a beautiful sea-view. The room was comfortable and had a large balcony with a great view of the sea. The price was better than staying in Rome, and it was a truly relaxing experience. I will surely return.
