  The Amalfi hotel is situated within walking distance of the main railway station and is great for making it an easy two stop holiday which is what we did. The room was beautifully refurbished and the bathroom was new. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the front desk is open 24 hours a day. We took a bus which cost us 1.5 euros each to the Vatican. as this is about 25 min drive away. Hotel rooms were spotless as was - Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Hotel was able arrange an extra nights stay after we missed our flight at short notice. Room was good size for 3 adults. The Hotel was close to the central station and easy to find, even with the hotel that close it was not affected by any noise. There are plenty of restaurants and fast food outlets adjacent to the hotel offering a varied choice and at good prices. Will stay there again.
