  Location is excellent in - walking distance to most major attractions. Lots of good restaurants close by. Room size was great, very spacious and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel arranged an airport pick up and drop off for us which was helpful. We were also able to check out very late as there was no one needing the room immed... co mówią ludzie » iately after us. We rented bikes from a small bike shop close by (details were at the reception), and saw even more of the city. Just be careful of t - Location is great! Breakfast - in the room or on the common terrace - very good. This is a b&b on the 2nd floor of an old block, and once you get to the 2nd floor it's excellent, the rooms are large, well fitted out, clean and well serviced. However, although the booking photos show the plaza, the entrance to the building is a steel barred gate on a small side street which the taxi found tough to locate. The initial impression from the entrance gate is therefore not as expected.

  Hotel Clarisse is lovely. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable. However it's the staff that make it a great hotel. They go out of their way to help you with your traveling plans around Rome and make you feel welcome. Sergio in particular was wonderful to us. I would stay here again simply for the service. - The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.

  Excellent location in the heart of Rome, very good price for high season. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Standard Italian breakfast with lovely croissants, ask for a fresh coffee, not from the machine. We asked for first floor rooms and got them.   One of the finest luxury hotels in Rome. Architecture at the highest level: a mixture between Renassaince and modernity. Very nice and height rooms with a spectacular ceiling. The best part of the hotel was the staff. I've never seen such a friendly staff. Thank you for this wonderful stay. Auf jeden Fall, einer der besten Hotels in ganz Rom. Ar - We stayed in the Presidential suite, so our frame for description starts out pretty positive! First off, the location was perfect. From the Piazza del Gesu you can walk everywhere on your tourist map. The only time we cabbed was to go back and forth to the Vatican. The service was excellent. We had some difficulty with the guy at the desk and no English, but it just added to the charm of knowing you were in Italy. The breakfast was enormous and catered to gluten free (as does everyone in Rome)
