  The best thing that impressed that I recieved an email from Adriana - the communications manager of the hotel, 2-3 before my check-in to make sure that I smoothly find the hotel (water bus number, location map, etc.). The kitchen is good and you can cook. I bought some fresh catch from the fish market which is just below the hotel. Mi - Great, great location.....really could not be better placed in the city for walking and the general sights of Venice. The top floor is very generous in size with a quaint, atelier style slanted roof and pop-up dormer windows looking out onto the Grand Canal. Amenities and the access to a full kitchen are very welcome additions to a lovely stay.

  Let me start by saying we enjoyed our stay at Le Repubbliche Marinare 140%. Room was clean, spacious, marble on the floor, nothing to complain there. We didn't have some special view, but we came to Venice to wonder about, not to sit in a room all day (even if it rained). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a standard hotel. Just a room in someones apt building in venice. The outside of the building looked like I had made a mistake by booking the room but judging a book by its cover is never fair. A great stay for a night in the middle of Venice. Easy access to water taxi, San Marcos Square, and anywhere else really. I would definitely stay here again.

  We arrived in the wrong place (San Luca Hotel)....but the owner called and the person from San Luca BB came to meet us and escort us to the B&B (really kind and above the level of what is required). As we arrived early in the morning, I wrote and they said they would be happy to even have us check in early. At the B&B we were offered coffe... co mówią ludzie » e and croissants while they prepared the room. Overall the service was great. The location is central and ideal. There is an Punto Simply (grocery) on - Location, location, location. You're literally minutes away from both the Rialto and Piazza San Marco. Yet, once you get inside the B&B, it feels more like home and the touristy/hectic buzz of the outside feels farther away. Service was excellent. If you can't be shown to your room yet (ie. you show up early) or you have a later flight to catch, they'll let you leave your bags with no hassle and will even serve you coffee in the common area.
