Our apartment was perfect for our family of four. The location is five minutes walk to the Duomo, and the Academy museum is almost around the corner. I highly recommend this hotel.   It was only a few minutes walk from the bus station and within easy walking distance of many of the main tourist sites.   I liked La Residenza di Michelangelo because it`s really clean - they really keep high standards regarding room maintenance! Second, I would recommend this place to anyone planing a sightseeing tour of Florence like I was - after a day of walking through Florentine streets and museums it`s a blessing to be situated this near to all the main attrac... co mówią ludzie » tions (San Lorenzo is c. 5 min. away, Il Duomo c. 10 min. away...). And finally, but not less important, staff is really kind and helpful. The owners - Extremely clean and modern rooms, great staff, good location. Room came with fridge (although it wasn't very cold), hair dryer, shower essentials and coffee, tea, small packaged pastries, etc. La Residenza just opened last September and it shows--everything smells new! Some more tips for travelers: Angela and her staff are only there during limited hours but we didn't have any special needs. There is also an elevator to the 2nd floor for those with big luggage.
