  The owner of this hotel is a very elegant man, who was very helpful and made our stay all the more enjoyable. The room itself was not large but had a wonderful veranda that overlooked a canal. The location is a bit tricky but it seemed that everything was hard to find in Venice even with all the signs. - Helpful, friendly staff.   We loved that it was so easy to get to and from the Realto Bridge for arrivals and departures and for additional day trips... Directions, hints, tips and must see all explained thoroughly. I was nervous about getting from the airport on our own, but the directions were very clear and the hotel easy to find. The location was perfect between the Rialto and St Marco square-we couldn't have picked better! Very impressed with how friendly the staff are and how welcomed we felt.
