  The staff are by far the biggest asset in this hotel. We were greeted by Raphaella who could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. On one night we had an issue getting our mobile to work which given we had left our two small children with their grand parents was an issue. Located very close to the Vatican and right in the middle of two metro stations ( - We stayed 3 nights at Fabio Massimo and really enjoyed our stay there. The staff were really friendly and since there were only about 9 rooms (I think) the level of service was exceptional. Breakfast was good and the hotel was really close to some good restaurants. Me and my girlfriend were there on Valentines Day and I asked the receptionist to do something with my bedroom while we were away, he arranged for a bouquet of roses and rose petals on the bed with Champagne glasses (which I had aske

  The location was great! We could see the San Giovanni cathedral's top statues right out our window and strolled past the Coloseum nearly everyday on our way to and from other Rome sights. The owner was also really friendly. Since the place is set up with a bunch of bedrooms attached to a kitchen/living are - Location was perfect, a short walk to Metro, many good restaurants nearby and shopping as well. My sister and I felt very safe, our room was just the right size, comfortable bed and a nice view with a small balcony. The owner Bernardo is gracious and welcoming.

Nice neighborhood location west of Trastevere, yet, for walkers, it's not that far from major Rome sights and also easy to catch a bus a few blocks from the B&B. Straight bus to Piazza Venezia 44, just 15 minutes. Close to Trastevere where there are a lot of good restaurants. Charming owner and staff. My opinion is - excellent hotel!
