Great apartments to spend a few days in Florence. Location could not be better (Duomo in just two minutes walk away). Design rooms favorably with ordinary hotel rooms. Albena! She was so wonderful to us! We arrived earlier than the stated check-in time, we had planned to just drop our bags and come back later. She said since our room was not ready (I didn't expect it to be) that we could have a different, larger room. It was a wonderful surprise! It seems that every where we had stayed prior was a little small and cramped, but this room was so huge and spacious, it felt great to be able to stretch out and breathe! The father/son owners, Luigi and Mario, work hard to create an affordable, welcoming and convenient place for travelers to Florence. The center of town is close enough to walk for those inclined (15 minutes) or short cab ride for those not so inclined. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean and quiet.

The owner Carlo is amazing. He had a wealth of information about
Florence and the surrounding areas. He was also very nice, and helpful.
We were told about all the hotspots as well as recommended restaurants
in the vicinity of those sights. The B&B is also very clean, and
quiet. It is also very close to the metro Firenze smn. Exit to the right

value for the price is ideal. -
The hotel has recently been taken over and the owners are both friendly and ambitious to make improvements where possible. The room is large and after spending a day in bed sick, I can tell you how comfortable the bed is! Breakfast was small and simple but I do believe this is one of the changes to be made. We were within 10 minutes walk of the Duomo and downstairs is a fab coffee shop and one of the best kebab shops I've ever eaten at!
