  Very close to S.Marco's and easy to find. Staff very helpful. Hotel really nicely renovated, clean, cosy and welcoming. Breakfast was delivered to our room without extra charge, which was heaven ! We were there in the off season, so the room price was fantastic compared to high season rates. - I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel.   I had such a great time here! The place is very clean and comfortable. The décor is absolutely amazing and inviting. It makes you feel very relaxed and as if you were staying in a hotel. It was - Great location, very easy to find, just few meters away from Grand Canal, and very close to San Marco (5min). Beautiful roof terrace. Very clean hostel. Big space where you can hang out. I came during off season,to visit Venice biennial, for one night I payed just 20 eur. Stayed in 3 bed room,and for both nights I was staying only with one very quiet Japanese girl. Breakfast is simple, but for me was just perfect, coffee, croissant, bread, jam. Definitely coming back again!

  -True Venice experience! The hotel is located on one of the small canals, so finding the hotel was an adventour in itself. Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. It isn't easy to find, but use the directions on the website along with a map and you'll figure it out eventually. The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.

  We loved everything about Ca' Gottardi. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Fabio was a delight, and Luke must be the most friendly and positive Italian guy we have met on our trip :) The room we had was one with a view (ask for second building) and required walking up some stairs, but we did not mind!
