  We loved so many things about Al Redentore Di Venezia. Andrea the Manager was fabulous and could not have been more helpful. The apartment itself was beautiful, very clean, and had everything you could possibly need in a self catering apartment. Complimentary tea, coffee, milk, and light breakfast provisions were provided. These were very much appreciated. There - We loved Andreas. He's the most organized, warm, friendly, patient manager I've met during our 10 day trip to Italy. He would have no problem managing upscale hotels like the Ritz. He responded immediately, from the moment we booked online. He always greets us by name and with a smile. We liked the location because it was away from the hustle/bustle of the city, which is very touristy. We enjoyed interacting with more Italian residents and shop owners on the island.   The location in the neighbourhood of the Salute church is ideal. When arriving with the vaporetto at the stops of Academia or Zattere, you can go with your luggage trolley to this B&B without CLIMBING over one bridge, just roll ! The reception by the lady of the house was very friendly and ...she helps you with the luggage over the (steep) stairs ! The room and the bathro - Probably the nicest place my girlfriend and I stayed at during our trip through Italy. (Admittedly, we were traveling on a budget and mostly renting through airbnb.) This is a true B&B, with Massimo and his wife coming in the morning to make us coffee. They were very friendly, telling us to make ourselves at home and opening up the various cakes and pastries in the kitchen. Venice is expensive, but Ca' Santo Spirito was fairly good value for city.

  The two-bedroom suite was great. The rooms were large and nicely decorated. The bathroom had an additional room with a 2nd sink, so two adults could easily get cleaned up. The hotel is very convenient to St. Mark's Square just by crossing the Grand Canal via traghetto, and then walking a couple of blocks.
