  The most amazing thing about Giardino dei Melograni is the staff. Lovely, kind and helpful people, from the two young ladies at reception (Giordana and Eleonora) to the maid, to the lady responsible for breakfast. They're not just polite, they're genuinely nice. It means a lot, especially when you're traveling on your own in an - The location was excellent. It was fairly easy to find after leaving the waterbus from the airport; and in a good spot to get to all of the “must see” sights. It was lovely to return to the relative calm of the beautiful square, where the hotel was situated, at the end of a busy day of walking and taking all that is La Serenissima.   An easy walk from Piazzale Roma bus station and Santa Lucia train station (no boat to catch, no dragging suitcases through the heavy tourist traffic). There was absolutely no noise from the train station or the canal adjacent the apartments. Due to the location you do not get large numbers of passers by, so very peaceful.
