I do not agree with any of the negative reviews on this absolutely
magnificent hotel. You get what you pay for and maybe even more. The
room was spacious, clean and very bright. The furniture is not the most
fashionable in the world but it's a hotel you need to rest in, not

Excellent location, beautiful building with wonderful quadrangles within each of the two parts, comfortable rooms. We disagreed about the bizarre paintings on the marble floors, I thought they spoil the effect, while my friend has found them acceptable.

The staff were helpful. Relaxing atmosphere. Very good value for money. - The lobby is very attractive, with oriental rugs, sofas, and a bar at one end so you can have a drink. The breakfast room was also nice, and the breakfast quite good. There was a pretty outdoor lounge area in front of the hotel, with tables and chairs and lots of green plants
