To our surprise they offered to check us in early and also upgraded our room to a Junior suite.The service was at all time - The location could not have been better; 2 minutes from the Duomo and Galleria Victor Emanuel. The Metro and tram are literally just outside the door and the building is easy to find when returning from a busy day. The staff was most attentive and helpful and the room was very large and comfortable.. The lighting in the room was superb and counter/table space was plentiful, even in the bathroom.   The location was number 1, followed closely by a wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Every single person I met in the hotel was nice and they went out of their way to orient me in Milan. The rooms were modern and spotless. I have already reccomended La Madoninna to everyone that mentions possibly going to Milan. Fascilities include air-conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi free of charge, fridge, safe. The bed is very cozy, whippy and silent. Everything is clean (floor, towels etc).
