The bed! The best most comfortable one we have had the whole holiday! The room was fantastic, airy and nicely appointed. The roof top terrace although not open yet, we were able to go up and get 360 degree views of the city and were higher than the top level of the Coluseum! One block from the Colusseum and Roman Forum and metro. Very handy spot for starting sightseeing. Friendly hosts. Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra
care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past
we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio
were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano
was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the
Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and
this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

We used this hotel for a two day city break prior to a Med cruise from Civitavecchia. The hotel is brilliantly located as it is 2 mins walk from Termini Station where the airport express train terminates and also trains run regularly from Termini to the port. We stayed here as a family for my husband's 60th birthday and 14-year-old son. We really enjoyed the all-inclusive breakfast, and the helpful staff who work there.
