  The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The hotel, in a relatively quiet street, is just a 10min walk from the main features of Florence (Dome, Ponte Vecchio, etc.).   The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 -12 min walk from Florence SMN train station. The hotel is on the third floor of the building without elevator, but the owner has helped with our luggage, so it was not an issue at all. Very clean and quiet. The breakfast room has an astonishing view of Florence roof - The Locanda dei Guelfi proved to be a good choice for us and we enjoyed our stay there. You never know quite what to expect even if you have read the reviews before you go. We had no difficulty in finding the hotel and the steps up to the third floor were not an issue for us although I can see that it might be a problem for some. The location is excellent although the area is quite busy but this was not a problem for us. The room and facilities were very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

  The location and accommodations were amazing. We came back early after visiting Venice and they accommodated us , no problem. It is blocks away from the train station and blocks away from David. Great location, clean sheets, amazing coffee. I will stay there again. The man even took us to the airport when we left. Two thumbs u - When we got there we were immediately accommodated by their friendly staff. Before heading to our rooms our host gave us a map and suggested the best places to visit! The owner of the b&b, although spoke a language we didn't speak nor understand, he was able to make his concern and care felt. We actually felt like our grandpa is taking care of us. All in all it was a great experience- great b&b and staff!

Good quality and very 'civilised' breakfast. Longish, but good, walk into town.

Excelent position (near S.M.N. Train Station and very close to the Duomo), very easy to find, rooms with an interesting design, spacious, private bathroom, terrace, very confortable bed, daily cleaning, good price and so on. We arrived later then the check-in schedule but there were no extra taxes. Florence is a great city and this place is in the same style of romance and relaxation.
