  This is a great hotel in a great location--a real gem. From what I can tell, all the rooms have a balcony overlooking the sea and the view is fantastic. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the meals were simple but very good.   Well situated, a lovely 15 min walk into town. Beach 8 mins down the hill. Clean, simple, effective. We hired a car (40E pd) to explore the island. Perfect size to do that. - Friendly and helpful reception staff, handy for beach and town by foot - albeit a 20 minute walk is good for us.

Given hotel is on the side of a hill the hotel runs a regular minibus service to/from Forio town center, hotel has its own thermal bath - Everything was excelent!   We had an incredible stay at La Luna. They picked us up at the port and dropped us off when we left, and the driver carried my backpack inside. Our room wasn't big but it was clean and comfortable, and a lot of natural light got in through the doors to the balcony.
