  We stayed there for 2 weeks in the middle of june 2013. Excellent location. The beach is just a few steps from the hotel entrance. The beach is very clean, Angelo and his men are there all day,making sure everything is OK. The restaurant is right on the beach. The hotel is in a very good shape, everything is fresh and new, including the furniture. Breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee: never have I had such a good hotel-breakfast-coffee as here.   The staff were fantastically helpful. They made phone calls to check restaurants and other hotels for us. The breakfast room was lovely, a sun room overlooking the sea. The choice was huge, everything was fresh (including the freshly squeezed juice) and organic.   Ivana was wonderful. The staff could not enough for you. Our fridge was not working well so they brought us a new larger one. Location was really great for visiting Taormina and surrounds. It's under new management so things are getting changed and updated all the time. Would definitely stay there again.   My husband and I stayed here with our two little girls last weekend. The hosts were very nice and hospitable. We booked an apartment and got one on the second floor (or "first" in europe) with a kitchen. There was a nice view of the sea, not spectacular but definitely more than I expected. I work in the tourism industry where people DO NOT clean up after themselves and it's an EXTREMELY GOOD IDEA that anyone who uses the kitchen facility should pay to have it cleaned.
