  The staff at Garda Palace were beyond incredible. As Americans speaking little to no Italian, Carlo and Helga were crucial to our "survival" during a very rough time while my father was in the Peschiera Hospital. We were in a ground floor, two bedroom apartment which had a lovely terrace, furnished with table and chairs for the five of us. The 14 apartments shared an outside pool. The complex was visited by ma large number of families from many different countries. Everyone was friendly and made to feel welcome. There are two huge high quality supermarkets within 5 minmutes wallk (on the road out of town). It was about a 10 minute walk into the OLd Town
