Everything was excellent! The location is perfect, the hotel and solarium are one of the baia del silenzio highlights (often photographed by tourists).
The bay is SO quiet, it's amazing, such a relaxing atmosphere. The sea is very calm and not deep, for many hundred meters from the sandy beach.

A delightful family run hotel. Perfect location in the Bay of Silence. Easy access to Cinque Terre but would go again in a heartbeat just to soak up the beauty and friendliness of Sestri Levante. Would highly recommend this little treasure, would treat ourselves to a room with a view next time as that was to die for when sitting at breakfast or lazing in the lovely warm pool. Didn't want to leave!!!!

It seemed obvious to us that the owners of Hotel Genova care greatly about their hotel and about the comfort of their guests. Bright, airy, lovely, very comfortable room. Air conditioner was extremely quiet the few times we used it. Impeccably clean hotel. We had asked for a quiet room and were given one. Breakfasts had a delicious and varied selection of food. WiFi worked beautifully, even up on the top floor. Only a few minutes walk to the train station, beach, and pedestrian-only streets.

The dinners offered at the restaurant within hotel are amazing! Very tasty Italian cuisine 4 course meal (antipastas, first dish (e.g. pasta or soup), second dish (e.g. meat or fish) and dessert) with choices at a very modest price.
The room was very clean and comfortable.

The hotel is basic but ticks all the boxes. The management and staff alike were always helpful and very pleasant. They made you feel really welcome. The food is excellent and although it is a set menu there is always something for everyone and the best value for money in Sestri. Drinks are also better value in the hotel than at the bars/restaurants in town. A 2* hotel with 5* service

My wife and I were greeted by Mr. Francesco Andreoil ( Direttore ). From the moment we arrived he made us feel very comfortable. He assigned us a beautiful sea view room which was amazing. He also had one of his staff drive our car into the private garage as the space is very tight. He also recommended a wonderful restaurant around the corner

We have stayed here many times, every time we stay it's always such a calm, relaxing and luxurious hotel to stay in. The staff are always friendly and kind (they gave us a free upgrade too) but the location of the hotel, right on the beach in this lovely quiet location is perfect! Breakfast right overlooking the little bay is beautiful and a great start to any day or holiday.

Luxurious hotel in beautiful Sestri Levante. Nice rooms with all the facilities. Most of the rooms are not in the old building, but in a newer annex in the garden. Very nice swimming pool, lots of beds. In the sun or in the shade. Nice park. Excellent breakfast. Everything upper four star level. -

It was really a great hotel. At the most beautiful side of Sestri, nearby everything. Clean chamber, very friendly staff, beautiful inside with everywhere seats to read (the chamber is not a chamber to stay during the day). Sitting somewhere in the garden there is no need to buy drinks etc. You can decide it yourself. Very good breakfast.

What a gem! We were backpacking Europe and decided to stay at La
Scogliera. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are
so clean, and the view of the sea is spectacular. Delicious breakfast
and made-to-order coffees, and the hotel lent us bikes to get to and
from the train station. Just a train ride away from Cinque Terre, and,
as recommended by hotel staff, Santa Margherita and Portofino. Lovely
stay at La Scogliera; highly recommend.

Friendly staff, good location (near beach, railway/road) easy to go both North (Genova, Portifino) and South (Cinque Terre). Although the railway was only 3-400 m from the hotel, noise was never a problem.
Good parking facilities, reasonable breakfast.
