  the owner is very nice and friendly and smiling all the time! the rooms are big and comfy. close to the airport but very quiet. we stayed only 1 night before our early flight so didn't have time for breakfast but the owner still left us something little to eat. - We LOVED it here.   Owner of Villa Mainard was one of the nicest people we've ever met! Even with limited English, he was so helpful to us. Our apartment was beautiful, very spacious, and wonderful to stay in - we wish we could have stayed longer! We wanted to be able to cook in a couple of nights and that proved easy to do. The concierge provided good information about local facilities, bus routes and local food shopping (would suggest these should be in a folder in Italian, English and German in each apartment. nb buy bus tickets at the local Tabak - cheaper than on the bus!)

There was a separate kitchen area with everything you need. If you stay for a long time you can prepare some food with no trouble. The fridge could hold an elephant! Location is good for car but can also easily be accessed by bus - stop is right after the corner, travel to the city center takes 10-15 min.

A problem: room nr.1 is very close to the kitchen, so if there's some activity you will hear everything. But the owner was nice and changed our room after one night.
