The desk personnel are very helpfull with giving good advice on where to eat (pippito) and what to visit in the surroundings (Aci Trezza). Good connection to Catania if you are driving a car. Air conditioning very good, staff responsible for very sweet and friendly. The hotel´s motto very good and surprisingly occasionally. A bit expensive but great value for money. Plenty of parking and a view of part of the volcano top Etna and not far from the city Catania. Approximately 500 m to the beach but only rocks and no sand beach.

  This was our first trip to Sicily. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owners. Their daughter spoke English and helped to translate. Our apartment was clean and had a very charming, rustic, and authentic feel. The property and the grounds were beautiful and well maintained.   We loved it here. The town of Nicolosi is welcoming and friendly, as is the B&B, really a small apartment. Shop at the butcher for some good Scicilan meat and sausages and pick up some fresh vegetables and wine from a barrel, at a friendly vendor and go back to the B&B to cook in the little kitchen. The house is ancient but well res - What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania.
