My group also stayed at Dromoland Castle and we all agreed that our stay at Ballygarry House was more enjoyable. The rooms were very comfortable.The price was reasonable. The staff from check in to check out were most gracious and professional. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Their attention to detail was excellent. Very friendly and efficient in all areas - girls on reception/waiters, etc. Used the Spa, and it was a beautiful experience. Would do it all again! - The food is amazing, I would definatley recommend eating in the restaurant. The therapists in the spa are top class and there is a beautiful vitality suite.

I wish we had more time to spend in the hotel. We didn't get to make use of the facilities at all and they looked fantastic. I've recommending it to my friends since i got home on monday!! - The quiet location of the Hotel overlooking the Bay. The excellent Leisure facilities. The hotel was relaxed and the opportunity to chill out in the lounge with afternoon tea provided was very nice. I noticed some other guests - particularly children seemed to really enjoy it. There was ample seating and it was bright and airy - good for reading or chatting!!
The location was good too on the way to Muckross but near enough to town to walk.
There was a lot of menus of local eateries available in the lobby too which would have been very useful had they been pointed out to us...we

Probably the best hotel stay I've ever enjoyed. The breakfast is definitely the best breakfast I've had anywhere in the UK or Ireland - simply amazing. The spa is great, with a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, lap pool and cold water soak, all kept fastidiously clean. The room was very nice, and the view was spectacular. First rate, across the board

Stayed in a self catering holiday home, the house had everything you could need in it, it was perfect for us and the 3 kids. the kids had their own rooms, which they loved! and there was even a sofa bed downstairs for an extra friend.The pool was great for the kids, and staff really friendly. kenmare itself is a great spot, lovely pubs, restaurants

Where the hotel is situated is without doubt the most scenic part of this country. Waking up to this background is an amazing experience. I am from Ireland and expect staff to be pleasant which they were at the skellig but I even thought they exceeded my expectations. Especially a lady on the cleaning staff that was very friendly when id pass her in the hall way. and a lady from Armagh which made an extra effort been friendly with us. This adds to the overall experience
