The hotel was friendly and comfortable and above all very clean. The housekeeping was up to a high standard. The breakfast good. We had one evening meal which was not part of our package. It was a good meal. The location was good for touring the area.
I asked for coffee mugs in my room as I hate the mickey-mouse small white ones. Two mugs were supplied. Happy days! I liked the call asking me had I forgotten about breakfast. I like the mixed age demographic of the staff.wszystkie opinie »
Very pleasant & friendly staff. Good breakfast. Hotel had an air of history & past grandeur about it. The hotel & at least 3 other venues in Lisdoonvarna offered music at night.
having stayed there before we knew it was what we wanted for a nights entainment staff very helpful when we left some belongings after us .will be staying there againpity.
All Staff were very friendly. The restaurant and bar staff, particularly good. Good location, room was comfortable. Parking available. Food was nice and well presented.
The hotel is quite elegant I think. I loved to read about it's history. The woman at reception was very helpful. I got a very nice room for a bargain price.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. I believe there are rooms that have been renovated however I didnt get one of these.
+great location, walking distance for Lisdoonvarna and short drive to the Clifs
+great price, really nice rooms and ammenities.
The staff couldn't have been nicer. Had some car trouble while there and had the name of mechanic immediately. Most impressed.
Relaxing atmosphere, and even though we arrived late the restaurant facilitated us, very helpful and accommodating staff,.
only arrived in time for bed and had to leave early for the Tour de Burren cycle so I didn't see much of Hydro.
the staff were very nice and friendly, the rooms were clean and bright and bartender Pan was great to talk to.
Everything friendly staff , good service and price and irish music on saturday night excellent.
The room was big and bright and the view was amazing. The staff were friendly and very accommodating.
The Hotel is spotless, very comfortable and the staff are very helpful. Very enjoyable 3 night stay.
Cleanliness of the room, bright and modern, decor excellent,tv, tea and coffee making facilities.
great location for a holiday in co. clare. most staff members were pleasant & friendly.
I liked that breakfast was not self-service. It was lovely to have breakfast from a menu.
the design and layout of the room it was very comfortable.
Staff were really friendly.
so relaxing just exactly the break we badly needed eventhough it was for one night.
Perfect base for West Clare. Very efficient and friendly staff and good food.

staff friendly. very clean.
Not far from attractions.
A touch of class ,.
Very clean hotel.
Bed, interior.
proximity to town and entertainment.
Hotel was clean, beds were comfy.
Lahinch was beautiful to far away they told me in an email they were only. 5mins it was about 20 and we paid 40euro on taxis to and from lahinch!! Didn'tlike much about the hotel really.
Renovated bedrooms
Location.
The location was good.
Smart decor in room.
The stains on the walls in our bedroom. The plastic pillow cases reminded me of hospital.
The only view from the room window was the room windows directly opposite across a small enclosed yard.
pity they dont do dinners during the day had to go else where.
Quite noisy but I was there for the Matchmaker Festival. Music,(Live Bands)went on until at least 2am. Then radio music from 8am in the Lobby, probably to wake people for breakfast. Chatting and people bursting into song from below, could be heard from my 1st floor room.
Not the Hotels fault but I was unaware that the Mineral, Sulphur Spa no longer existed!.
Luke warm water and no water pressure for my shower. No blinds on a skylight which caused me to wake early due to light streaming in.
The hotel seems to be aimed at an older (60+) age group.
-breakfast was only ok, but service was good.
Stayed in room number 17, toilet/shower room far to small. Banged my head off mirrior while shaving. Wife thought it very funny. TV is mounted on wall beside large mirrior above electric kettle. For safety reasons it should be moved to the opposite side of the mirrior. Their were no other electrical sockets to move the kettle.
extractor fan in bathroom annoying.
the food !!! breakfast was okay but dinner in the evening was hideous. slow service & food was horrible.
didn't like the Irish night which was meld in the bar.
could not complain on it.
lack of hot water.
WE had one evening meal.Vegetables were greasy and not very hot. I would stay at the Hydro again if in the area but I would not have an evening meal there.
German speakinh guests in loud voices chatting in the corridors at 6.30
and 7 a m each morning, very inconsiderate.bus turned engine on at 6 a m
and left running for an hour.Room cold.
Breakfast portions could be larger.
Breakfast was basic but nice. Could do with more options.
Would like to have seen more Irish employees.
nothing.
Parking was full at the front, so parked at the side with buses. No
great calamity! Prices: 40 euro for a single room; 80 for 2 a couple
sharing the same size bedroom; 120 for a triple bedroom - where the
couple stayed paying 80 euro. Could you look into making an incentive to
sharing a double / triple room, as it would be been just as cost
effective to take 3 single rooms.
Telly was very small and did not hat rte1,2 r tv 3. Did like shower gel.
Nothing.
The noise on corridors in the morning with tours leaving the hotel early in the morning.
having to pay before even seeing the room.
when we asked about golf in the area the staff had no idea and were of no real help although they tried.
lack of wifi in the room.
Breakfast was basis
Shower was cold but because weather was soo good I didn't complain because it suited at that time.
Shower.
price of beverages.
Thought the bedroom was cold, had issues with the shower, took bout an hour to get an water from it, something to do with water pressure id image.
3.20 for a bottle of sprite coke etc RIDICOLOUS!!! for a 3 star old fashioned hotel.. grapefruit segments only fruit on the breakfast menu I asked for any other piece of fruit they said they had none and were not very helpful or friendly about it!!.
Staff on arrival were rude and once I headed to my room I overheard them talking behind my back. Very unprofessional
Breakfast set up very strange. Set menu and if you weren't part of the tourist group, you weren't made feel very welcome
Room was right above main entertainment. Noise continued until 4:30am.
Wi-fi didn't work. Staff blamed it on too many people trying to access it.
It was dated and way too expensive for what was on offer. We actually
cancelled our second night as it was so depressing in the hotel and it
was worth losing 50 euro to escape the place.
Poor service in restaurant in the evening and at breakfast.
