The host, Bernadette was a delight. She was helpful, friendly and very accommodating. When I became ill, Bernadette allowed an extra late check-out which was much appreciated. Her B&B is lovely. There are numerous places to eat and easy bus access to the city and a short walk to Croke Park.

Bernadette and Padraigh are the best hosts in the Dublin area. We considered that the location (halfway between the airport and downtown - 10 minute trip) was perfect. This adorable place was so nice, clean and comfortable. The owners were just a delight. Our room was wonderful and comfortable. Location was perfect just outside of town about a few miles and easy access to the bus system into town center. Breakfast was amazingly great and filling!! I would recommend to everyone to stay here if you want a quieter setting but still be very close to town center. Also they have a beautiful outside garden area and the flowers are just beautiful.

Conveniently located across from Heuston Station, but also in-between Phoenix Park and the terrific National Museum of History and Design, and right down the street from Smithfield and the Guinness Brewery. I booked here because it was cheap,but I was pleasantly surprised at what I got.

Loved the friendliness of the staff they were all excellent, stowed our bags for us before and after check-out too, so we could do more sightseeing. The beds were very comfy and clean linen, good signal on the TV. The breakfast was very plentiful and had lots of choice. Place was like a tardis! Represented good value for our money, near enough to bus links etc, but far enough away to give an undisturbed nights sleep. Liked the key-code entry to bedrooms.

The woman running the B 'n' B was friendly, helpful, accommodating to all our needs. My daughter and her one year old child were travelling in Ireland for 10 days. We stayed our first 2 days here. We enjoyed it so much we could have stayed here for the entire time, so we asked if she had room for us for our last 2 days when we returned to Dublin.

Bed was the comfiest i have ever slept in, pillows were fluffy. Hygiene Standards were the highest i have seen.
Room was decorated to a high standard and was well equiped.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was gorgeous, it was clear that the food provided was of a high standard and after some discussion with staff member it was clear that alot of thought went into quality and taste, yummy and there was plenty of it too.

The Lorcan B&B is superbly located between the airport and town, right on the bus line for easy access to downtown. The rooms are larger than most B&B rooms I have seen in Dublin, and are immaculately kept with en-suite bathrooms and very spacious showers. It's an excellent value for the price and the food and facilities are top notch.
