Each room comes with a private terrace overlooking the forests. Tugu House is 300 metres from Jazz Café Ubud and within walking distance of downtown Ubud where Ubud Art Market and Ubud Palace reside. It takes 2.5 hours by car to reach the property from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Fan-cooled rooms are fitted with tiled flooring and freshly laundered linen. Included in select rooms are mosquito nets and fridge. Each en suite bathroom includes shower facilities and toiletries. Staff can attend to guests’ requests 24 hours daily. They can assist with laundry service and airport pick-up arrangements. Shuttle service, car and bicycle rental are offered for those who wish to explore the area, and breakfast can be served daily in guests’ rooms at a charge.

Tugu House is a gorgeous little homestay in the backstreets of ubud. Quiet and close to a river with a gentle garden views. Komang was so kind to us and the breakfast he made was one of the best I'd had anywhere in Bali. The rooms were beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. The very value for money of anywhere we've stayed in four years of coming to Bali. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, the bathroom with hot water was more than enough, the terrace view was awesome, and to make it even more a nice place to stay: the owner, Bli I Gusti Ngurah is very nice and friendly. I will definitely stay there again when I visit Ubud.

Really nice place with a beautifull garden and view. Hot water and clean room with a very low price. Great friendly staff that was very helpful both at the hotel and understanding things to do in Ubud!. The view from our 'balcony' was amazing and it had the best breakfast we had so far!!. Very nice and quiet place where to spend a romantic stay. A nice house stay with a beautiful garden in the jungle. friedly staff + nice and clean room (for cheap price). room was cosy and facing the jungle was a nice view...staff was accomodating and flexible to our requests. The garden is beautiful but the rooms need a thoroughly good clean. We cleaned the bathroom and the fridge ourselves and at any price that should never have to happen. The two girls that work at Tugu are very friendly but communication was a little difficult (us not speaking any Indonesian and they not speaking much English). The owner seems like a nice chap but we didn't see him much after we had explained we didn't want to do any day trips. The room was large and comfortabla. I have already filled this out. nothing much, just because ubud was rainy, maybe it affects the bed and pillow sheets as they became a little bit damp and smelly. but other than that, awesome place!. There was no mosquito net (as the picture said) there were a lot of animals who came into the room. I am not used to it. The watertank on the roof makes a strange noise (also during the night) and the bathroom was a bit smelly, but nothing compared to the pro's!!. Very difficult to find!. the bathroom...too dark...flooring was collecting water and hygene was poor. Rooms are a bit dark and need a proper cleaning. The bathroom of the best room offered is dark and cave like. On the surface a pretty place to stay. Oh and we disregarded a previous post about the cockerels in the morning but they really are loud and legion. They did not clean the room because they thought I was in there. Staff was often not present. I left after the first night. It was moldy and dank. The room was dirty. I asked the staff if I could have a cup of coffee and she said yes and then never arrived. I asked the girl about it and she looked clueless. I found another homestay for the same price that's 300% better.
