  - Our host Thorey was extremely welcoming and helpful; offering lots of recommendations and guidance - We stayed in an apartment separate from the primary guesthouse, which was quite large and comfortable - Both the guesthouse and the apartment are easy walking distance into city center (for people who are accustomed to walking) - Both the guestho... co mówią ludzie » use and the apartment are far enough from the city center that noise is not a problem (as we understand it can be downtown) - It is easy to day trip o - We rented the studio apartment for a week. We were making a first visit to the University. Innkeeper Thorri was very helpful and kind. As we walked around Reykjavik, we never saw a better value for this level of amenities and character. We love staying in historic and cultured homes like Gastafell. The 1 bedroom apartment was fully equipped and in a wonderful quiet location but literally minutes from everything. Breakfast was excellent.
