The guesthouse has very nice recycled unigue wooden interior . The tub in the garden is perfect. There is a cosy atmosphere and the view from the kitchen with Dow overlooking the sea is fantastic. My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with the design of the guesthouse. We were warmly welcomed, our room was cozy and practical, and the smell of fresh bread baking was enticing. While there is not much to do in Keflavik, Guesthouse1x6 serves as a handy stop for an early morning flight.

Hotel Berg was a recommendation from our car hire company Blue Cars. We had an early flight back to the UK and wanted somewhere near to the airport.
We had been travelling around the Westernfjords where hotels are not big on welcoming exteriors... it's hard to tell if they are open at times. Please don't misunderstand me we loved the Westernfjord

Stayed in one of the two floor suites, complete with skylight in the ceiling above the bed. Lovely decor, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful, offered to take us to the airport the next day and told us that breakfast was available from 4am! They have a Northern Lights wake up call that you can put your name down for. There's a coffee machine (with hot water and tea bags available too) in the lounge. Everything was perfect. Magnus at the reception was very friendly and helpfull. Arriving after midnight was no problem, my bed was excellent, even sharing bathroom was no problem. The house itself I found so nicely decorated, everything was clean. I stayed 2 nights and was well rested when heading up to Reykjavik, meeting my friend and travelling

Delicious breakfast, super clean bed and breakfast. Just changed ownership and new owners are trying really hard to be as kind and accommodating as possible. I needed a hair dryer and they didn't have one but went out and purchased one just for me to use while staying there. Special chocolate milk provided for the children each day and kind owner.

I really liked this hotel. Free taxi drive from the airport was quite unexpected in a good way. Breakfast was just wonderful and the old ladies really made me feel like home. I noticed they had a very large fitness centre free of charge for hotel guests and I used the sauna - will use the weight lifting some other time. - This is the friendliest

We will rate correctly this guesthouse. Why ? Because we were lucky to be upgraded for free in the four stars hotel just across the street.
So every thing was clean, we had a private bathroom, a nice bedroom, etc. ...
The breakfast buffet looks really nice, unfortunately we had to take our plane and didn't try the breakfast.

It is located a few kilometers away from the airport. -
Staff were extremely helpful in helping me sort out a few traveling troubles. They kindly printed my boarding pass, a schedule of shuttles to the Hahn airport, and loaned me an alarm clock as both my watch and mobile phone were out of commission. I made my flight thanks to their help.
