The apartment was well equipped with a small kitchen, TV, and free wi-fi. The apartment comes with a free parking space should you decide to rent a car. A very nice feature was access to laundry facilities (shared with two other apartments). -

It´s a really nice house with a spacious room and comfortable beds and nice garden. We felt like at home. Well equipped kitchen and free coffee and tea was quite a detail! Everything was clean. The natural geothermal hot tub was cool. We got a room with a private
bathroom- that was nice so we didn't have to share with other
guests. There is a little grocery store across the street so you can buy
food and put it in the shared fridge in the shared kitchen. Facilities
were clean, great budget friendly location. Fairly close to downtown

The apartment was very spacious, clean and modern and was stocked with pretty much everything you might need. The owner who turned up to meet us there when we arrived was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in an apartment on Munkathverárstræti 33 which was set back from the water on a quiet street which was perfect for our one night stop off.

A convenient location on Road 1. This is also a riding school and all the decorations at the hotel are horse themed! The bedroom was bright and modern and the breakfast large with ample choice. Staff polite and helpful. -

Lady owner is very kind, despite not ordering breakfast. She offered to make me hot water for my tea. Staff is nice and friendly too. The rooms are all very tidy and clean. For it's price, a decent place to stay. I wouldn't ask for more.

Staff were very helpful and warm. Guesthouse is very clean and well maintained ,and is in a building built in the 1930s. The interior made us felt like home. There is a fully equipped kitchen and common TV and dinning area with free tea, coffee and juice. This place is a short drive to the famous creamless ice cream called Brynja.

We enjoyed the apartment and found the staff to be incredibly helpful.
The kitchen saved us a lot of money on food, though it should be noted
there's no oven here. The hot tub was nice to have but not
particularly interesting (no jets or anything like that). We did a
northern lights tour with Saga that was particularly good. We also found
this location easy to use as a base of operations for our adventures in
the North of Iceland.

The people here are so friendly and cooperative, they helped us a lot regarding the street conditions and our rental car while we needed to extend for one night as we weren't able to move on because of a storm and snow.

This is a good place for travellers passing by rt1. It's a 20 minute drive by car to Akureyri, which is a very cosy place for eating and booking activities.
The rooms are separated from the reception and common room. The kitchen and breakfast place are very big and you have a lot of space for yourself there.
Breakfast was good and the lady there was from next door and was up for a chat.

The location of this apartment is great. It is right at the center of Akureyri where all the stores, and shopping are. This also makes it a very hard place to park.
The host is very friendly, make sure you has his number because you are going to need to call him to get you inside the apartment for the check in process.
The kitchen works fine, the washer and dryer worked for us.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
