The location is stunning! It faces an unusual set of spiky cliffs, embedded in a larger gorgeous valley to the West of Akureyri. The staff at the Cape hotel (where reception is) were very helpful and gave many great recommendations with thorough instructions. The room was comfortable with a sink in the room. I really liked the sitting room with tea and coffee available. The breakfast (at the cape hotel) was very good with a wide selection of options. I really appreciate

My review is not for the guest house but for the Cape hotel, because when I arrived, i was upgraded. The guest house is a hundred meters away and the breakfast is at the hotel. The hotel is 5 minutes walking distance from the harbour when boats leave for whale watching. The staff was very kind, the hotel clean and the room very big. The breakfast was good. Nothing to complain about.
