  Gudny, the owner/host went above and beyond in making our stay in Iceland more pleasant. The food left in the fridge was absolutely delicious and she even provided us with a snack when we arrived early in the morning.   Excellent place to start (or end) your trip. Host met us in airport and within 5 minutes we were at the guesthouse. Facilities are good and room is enough big. Also there are a lot of photos of host, old newspapers (unfortunatly only on Icelandic), books and photobooks about nature both on Icelandic and English. He lives in the house next to the guesthouse. Rooms are big enough, decoration is typically islandish. Breakfast was ok and there is a kitchen we can use. Bathroom was ok.

  Excellent in every aspect. The owner is an extremely kind woman, almost like a real mother. The place is impressively clean, especially the bed sheets and pillows which both had such a nice and strong perfume. The guesthouse is kept very well with the dining room and kitchen being both so pleasant. The place is very close to the airport s - The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was one of the best we've seen in Iceland (large enough to shower and no draining problems). Arna and Flosi were very helpful with tips and information about Iceland. It would have been best for us to stop here before touring around Iceland, as their advice would have been useful.
